In 1983, established Intel's Government Affairs Department while serving as assistant to Intel co-founder Dr. Robert Noyce, inventor of the integrated circuit. Worked closely with Intel’s first four CEOs - Dr. Noyce, Dr. Gordon Moore (Moore's Law), Dr. Andy Grove, and Dr. Craig Barrett. Opened Intel’s Washington, Brussels… and Beijing offices. Built a global team of 150+ professionals. Named Intel’s first Vice President of Global Government Affairs in 1996. Managed IPAC. Testified 18 times before the US Congress on behalf of Intel and various industry associations. (1983-2001)
